Body Sculpting from the inside first before seeking solutions

Attention is given to intention in the functional integration models I follow, practice, mentor, coach and teach. Through meditation with a focus on connection in the moment an inspiring consideration arose a few years ago. It was basically on body sculpting that began from the inside first versus outside focused strategies. This pattern fit seamlessly with current practices I already was integrating. As energy was already being spent on meditation and inner connection I began without expectation of outcome.

I targeted two areas on my body that I would like re-sculpted and began focusing on the inner self image we all have. With interest not only did these two areas re-sculpt, there was an inner shift in eating plans. This was the seed for the page Awareness through Eating where eating mindfulness has been introduced. I have held off on the body sculpting connection using meditation and intention until now.

Something unsuspected manifested that was not a conscious consideration when beginning. It was something I could never have predicted. It is appreciation for my body in a way that I didn’t know was possible. The depth of it spawned an incredible self love that I also did not know that was possible. It is a stunning starting point for being human. It has introduced a confidence from source that isn’t based on any outside influences.

For the past year or so, I have been getting familiar with it as I perceive the world somatically first. Felt sensations and feeling that I didn’t necessarily allow, let alone get to know in the past. It’s been a felt sense learning curve.

This week when I decided which two areas I now wanted to target, I tapped into the same pattern to meditate with and engage the felt sense of those body areas for the intent to re-sculpt them. After a couple of days I noticed my spontaneous eating plan had shifted. I hadn’t organized it. The pattern was reorganizing me while the targeted areas began to become somatically triggered off and on. It’s been a few days and I have had an intention to document this process, yet haven’t started. I will now after this post. I am curious.

What I can write with certainty is that when the first two targeted areas shifted, my posture shifted in how I held my skeleton. I am pleased with it as it increased flexibility. Some people will understand this concept and others won’t. I will begin sharing information on what has been discovered ongoing through this personal website page, www.reneelindstrom.com. I am incredibly moved by this experience and extremely happy I wasn’t distracted by people influences during the initial process of recognition. It’s been a heck of a few years of experiential learning. I couldn’t be more moved by on so many levels. I am so grateful.
