Standing in the Ribs and Vertebra of a Whale

Over a decade ago we explored the ribs of a whale from the inside. It was during a focus of attention on developing early childhood educational materials using values, somatic sensing and movement. I had chosen to use the Labyrinth pattern to introduce integrative patterns to shift reactions into conscious actions that did no harm. As a Feldenkrais Practioner of Somatic Movement I saw similar patterns reflected in this rib cage and the elusive plum line for physical counter balance that became clear through the practice and study of Feldenkrais.
